My head is humming. Drumming.
I am a weed in the wind.
Pummeled and blown about,
Thoughts of spreading, flying to another….where?
And rooting there.
Shelley Rae Bell
In the moment when the light rises,
beauty is opening, ready for revealing.
Delicate, not frail, she holds the nighttime kiss
of dew and thirst satisfied.
“I had to unlearn everything that the world taught me,
to unravel myself”
to unroll, unfold, or spread out or be unrolled, unfolded,
or spread out from a furled state
“Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening;
Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life’s desire.”
Tropical colors in bloom! Fun and inspiring!
Intrigued by the lime green center
and purple pink leaves,
I brought these vivacious
dahlia flowers home to photograph and share.
Imagine sipping a golden green margarita , feet up on a patio lounge in garden surrounded by these layers of colors….. and for this moment all is contentment and joy.
